1.  My Father Loves Me

I will delight myself in You
Anything less would never do
I Know that I am safe here in Your arms

I will believe the things You say
Your promises will light my way
My feet are standing firm upon this rock

All the concerns that cluttered my mind
are overshadowed now
by the fact that You love me

 All that I lack
my failures and weaknesses

Scatter like dust in the wind

when they find that You are for me.

(Chorus)

My father loves me, My father loves me,
My father loves me, My father loves me!

I’m going to hide myself in You
going to abide myself in Truth
I’
m going to stay here with You all my days.

I’m gonna fix my eyes on You
You are delightful through and through
Can it be You’
re captured by my gaze?

 All of the tears
that cluttered my past
they bow their knees in wonder
at the touch of Your affection

 All of the fears
that fractured my mind
they stand amazed and broken
in the face of Your intention

(Chorus)

My father loves me, My father loves me,
My father loves me, My father loves me!

Something new is here—suddenly its clear--
I’
m not an orphan anymore!
All that’
s Yours is mine, I am doing fine--
No longer poor!!

Royal sonship is what You’ve
draped around my shoulders:
—can you see me smiling?!!!

My father loves me, My father loves me,
My father loves me, My father loves me!

I will delight myself in You
Anything less would never do
I Know that I am safe here in Your arms

2.  Wings

I’m gonna fly someday
Open my wings and sail across the sky someday
Somewhere over the rainbow

I’m gonna soar someday
Spread my wings wide and glide through the open door someday
Mmmmm

My days are numbered here
You’
ve counted out my tears
And planned out every smile

My times are in your hands
I know that soon we’
ll stand
Face to face
By your grace

And I’m going to hear you say, “Well done!”
And call me your beloved
And I’
m going to hear you say, “Well done!”
And call me your beloved
And I’
m going to hear you say, “Well done!”
And call me your beloved

Call me
When you call me . . .

(Chorus)
I’m gonna fly someday
Open my wings and sail across the sky someday
Somewhere over the rainbow

 I’m gonna soar someday
Spread my wings wide and glide through the open door someday
Mmmmm

My feet are planted firmly
I’
m pressing on
Walking tall
Moving strong
Going from strength to strength

But I know that some day soon
Ill soar on past the moon
Through the stars
To where you are

So use my tears to make the thread you use to sew my wings on
use my tears to make the thread you use to sew my wings on
use my tears to make the thread you use to sew my wings on

Sew my wings on, ‘cause I want to fly

 (Chorus)
I’
m gonna fly someday
Open my wings and sail across the sky someday
Somewhere over the rainbow

I’m gonna soar someday
Spread my wings wide and glide through the open door someday
Some sweet day, Im gonna fly. Gonna fly someday.

3.  Where Saints and Angels Dance
(Psalm 46:4, Zechariah 8 & 9:16, John 14:1-3)

There’s a place where saints and angels dance
Around the very throne of God
Filled with holy innocence and freedom
Beneath the branches of the healing tree
That grows by the living river
That flows through the streets of the city
To make its people glad!

 (Chorus)
And I’
m going to go there!
I’
m going to stay there with You!
In the paradise that You have made for me.
My heart will fly to Your embrace--
Ill never let go of Your hand--
In the unfading joy of the promised land!

There’s a place where tears are wiped away
By the touch of Your gentle compassionate hand--
Healing for wounds from time gone by.

While the streets are filled with children playing
As old men and women look on in peace.
And we will all be sparkling
Like Jewels in Your crown!
(Chorus)

4.  Take Me In Your Arms

Take me in Your arms and
rock me gently
until I surrender
the lies that had me blind

Quiet me with the things that You say
I’
m moved by the way
You speak to me, so kind

 as You dress me
In the poetry that rises
from your heart

Father, Father, Father:
Father me.

Take me in Your arms and
rock me gently
until I forget what
kept me from You

Quiet me with Your mysterious voice
I’
m moved by Your choice
To free me with what is true

as You open
My eyes to see the
beauty of Your love

Holy, Holy, Holy:
like a dove.

(Bridge)
I don’
t know where we go from here
But I surrender!
For too long the darkness kept me from believing.
But I know now that true communion
Is what I was made for
It’
s what I was made for

Take me in Your arms and
rock me gently
until Your strong smile
Paints over my darkest frown

Quiet me with Your lips on my face
I’
m moved by Your grace
My walls are all comin’
down.
as You cover me
in Holy passion
fill my life and make me whole

Lover, Lover, Lover, of my soul

5.  Road King Love Song

I was unexpectedly battling a surge of panic that suddenly hit me after I finished The Road King Intercessory Tour— six extremely strenuous weeks of riding a motorcycle through the nation of Turkey, sleeping out in the open at night, weaving through heavy traffic or winding mountain roads in the hot sun all day long, while interceding heavily for the nation with the least number of believers of any country in the world. Once I realized the work was done and the stresses my fellow biker friend and I had faced were behind us, for some reason I felt like I was about to collapse, right there on a train winding its way toward the airport and home. Perhaps it was extreme fatigue--perhaps it was spiritual warfare--all I knew was that I needed to close my eyes and reposition my anchor tethers to the heart of God. So I thats what I did right away, and this song rose up inside of me, all in a single flow. And my heart and mind grew calm again, as I was swept off my feet by the lover of my soul. It was a lesson I would make use of time and time again--Sacred intimacy is a weapon.) (Song of Solomon 1:1; Zephaniah 3:17
God, You are my home—My refuge and my Help in storm.
I trust Your heart. Beneath Your wings I'm safe & warm.

How I need your strength
For the race that
You’ve marked out for me to run.
So I'll close my eyes
And lean back in Your strong
arms.

 (Chorus)
Kiss me with the kisses of Your lips.
Touch my face with kindest fingertips.
Living words now water-falling from Your mouth
--over me.
You alone, my comfort & my shield,
ocean, mountain, sky, & open field.
Dancing love song spinning off Your tongue
Over me, over me, over me!

6.  Lullaby for the Children

I’ll spread the corner of my garment over you and I’ll
Sing to you while you lay sleeping
And you will know, before the morning light
That everything’
s gonna be alright

(Chorus)

Holy God and Holy angels
Let’
s make a basket of our arms
And carry children home.

Lay their pillows on Your peaceful shore
Where quiet waters flow
Let them know Your peace, Your perfect peace.

I’ll find the keys to the doors behind which
everything will be resolved.
So close your eyes while angels come
And dance with you in dreams till dawn.

(Chorus)

 Holy God and Holy angels
Let’
s make a basket of our arms
And carry children home.
Lay their pillows on Your peaceful shore
Where quiet waters flow.
Let them know Your peace, Your perfect peace

Ill spread the corner of my garment over you and
sing to you while you lay sleeping
and you will know, before the morning light
that everything’s gonna be alright

7.  I Know My Father Loves Me

If they hunted through the haunts
where the demons hide
And rounded up the devils
far and wide

If they gathered all the darkness
that they could find
Had them take their best shot
to attack my mind

Even if my back’s up
against the wall
I Will not fear
I will not fall

From depths of hell
to lofty heights above
Nothing separates me
from My Father’
s  love
I know

I know my Father loves me
I know, I know!

I know my Father loves me
I know, I know

There’s a real live lion
that’
s prowlin about
He tries to devour me
Inside and out

His sole agenda:
Steal,
 kill, and destroy
he really is crafty
So I’
ll have to employ
My Weapons of righteousness
In left hand and right
Resisting all the lies
I know we’
ll win this fight
My fathers perfect love
drives all fear
 away
So I look to the heavens
Lift my voice up and say
I know

I know my Father loves me
I know, I know
I know my Father loves me
I know, I know

Even when taunted by the enemy
I know this truth—It sets me free

Walkin’ through the valley of Deaths shadow
Even there I know, I know, I know!

The very gates of hell will not prevail
These mighty
arms around me shall not fail
My Fathers Love has the loudest voice.
Love is my final focus, my choice
I know!

I know my Father loves me
I know, I know
I know my Father loves me
I know, I know

I mustn’t think the trial that
I face is strange
This is the way the
Father’
s arranged
to prove my heart,
my
faith, my love
So I’
ll stand on His Promise
Set my mind on things above

 I’ve surrendered my will
I’m washed in His blood
I know that He’
s workin’
Everything for my good

 Resisting the devil
I know he’
ll flee --
he’
s silenced by the fact
that my Father loves me

I know . . .
